HOW TO MANAGE CONSENT
On the first visit, a banner is shown that allows the user to accept all cookies, reject them or choose which categories to allow using the “Customise” button. Closing the banner with the X is equivalent to rejecting: browsing continues with technical cookies only. Scrolling the page or continuing to browse does not constitute consent.
The choice is stored for 6 months; after this period, or in the event of substantial changes to the cookies used, the banner is shown again. Consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page or by clicking here. If consent is withdrawn, first-party statistics and marketing cookies are deleted and the tracking tools are no longer loaded.
Users can also manage or delete cookies from their browser settings: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge. For Google Analytics, the opt-out browser add-on is also available. Disabling technical cookies may affect the operation of some parts of the website, such as access to My Metelli.
THIRD PARTIES AND TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
Third-party cookie providers process data as independent controllers or as processors, in accordance with their own notices. Google, Meta and LinkedIn may transfer data to the United States or to other non-EU countries; such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which these companies adhere, or of other safeguards provided for by Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Data subjects may exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, including the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal, by writing to gdpr@metellispa.it, and may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it). For further details, please refer to the Information on the processing of personal data.
