GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE
Metelli S.p.A. adopts a solid governance structure to ensure transparency, efficiency and integrity in decision-making processes. Ordinary management is entrusted to the Chairman and Managing Director, while the Board of Directors guides strategic choices, enhancing uniform skills and alignment with company values. The Board of Statutory Auditors oversees the corporate business and performs the statutory audit, contributing to the company's transparent and fair management.
Alongside traditional governance, Metelli integrates ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles as a strategic lever for sustainability. Our ESG governance guides the company in the management of environmental and social risks, through responsible practices concerning energy efficiency, emission reductions, the promotion of diversity and the protection of workers’ well-being.
The establishment of an ESG Committee ensures the continuous monitoring of initiatives and the implementation of a long-term sustainable strategy, creating value for all stakeholders and strengthening corporate resilience.
OBJECTIVES
Metelli S.p.A. 's sustainability strategy stems from a careful double materiality analysis and is embodied in the ESG Plan 2024–2026, which defines objectives and targeted actions in the three key areas: Environmental, Social and Governance.
On the environmental front, the company is committed to reducing CO₂ emissions through energy efficiency, the use of renewable sources and improved waste management. In the social sphere, the plan fosters occupational safety, continuous training, employee well-being and the enhancement of diversity and inclusion. The governance dimension strengthens transparency, business ethics and stakeholder engagement in decision-making processes.
Structured with short and medium-term objectives, the plan represents a concrete and proactive commitment to responsible and lasting growth, anticipating future regulatory challenges and market expectations.
